Saturday is the conclusion of the fantasy Fest activities with the big parade down Duval Street, the whole length of the island. This year the duration for our float - #49 - was 4 hours to go about 1.5 miles. Lots of stopping. We left the "marshaling area" at 7:30 PM, we arrived at our restaurant for after parade dinner and libation at about 11:30. The first group of photos is from the pre-parade activities in the area of our float.

Our float had a live band and thus required a security guard who would not be distracted from his duties by scantily clad women:

The goal of the parade is to distribute all the beads we have so the float organizers won't be required to take them home.
